The Ashbrook "At Home" takes place at 8pm on Saturday 10 September in the club.

 

For those of you not familiar with the At Home it is the annual presentation of prizes after the Summer Championships.  It is a lovely opportunity to come to the club, meet old and new friends,  have a drink and dinner.  We would love to see lots of you there.

 

To celebrate our centenary we would encourage you to dress up in 1920s style and there will be a prize for the best dressed - already I know Brian  Bohill and Marguerite Ryan are in the running.

 

The tennis captains/committee will advise about the finals which take place on Thursday evening, 8 September and during the day Saturday, 10 September.  A schedule will be shared closer to the time.

 

The At Home will kick off at 8pm when the bar will be open but we will also offer you a glass of bubbly or HopHouse with canapes.  Dinner will be served around 8:45pm and will include a main course and dessert.

The prize giving will take place after that.  Then there will be music .....

 

I know lots of you have let us know that you intend to come.  If you are coming and haven't let us know can you please do so as we need to know numbers for catering purposes.  The cost will be €30 per head and we would really appreciate if you could pay that in advance although there will be an option to pay on the evening.

 

Really looking forward to seeing lots of you in the club on Saturday evening.
